As a B&Q Customer Advisor in our TradePoint department you’ll be responsible for providing outstanding service to all our trade customers in store. Whether you’re activating a trade account for the first time or helping a returning customer, it’s really important that you’re happy to approach customers and offer confident advice as you’ll be building lasting relationships to make sure our trade customers return to TradePoint time and time again.
You’ll be working in a team every day so you’ll need to be upbeat and proactive, interacting with colleagues and customers alike. Our stores are often very large and busy so being able to multi-task and work unsupervised is a crucial skill for this role.
Don’t worry if you don’t know your washers from your woodscrews at this stage, being willing to learn is essential to the role and you’ll be given all the right training to build your skills and knowledge of our product ranges.
We need our customer advisors to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
