We are now looking for a Housekeeper to join us at our nursery in Sandy, Bedfordshire.

Hours: This is a part time position working 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day ideally 16.30 - 18.30

We are looking for a Housekeeper to become an integral member of our nursery team. You will be responsible for creating a clean and welcoming environment for the children and their families and staff.

Key responsibilities:  
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery and to encourage others to do the same
Assist the nursery team at mealtimes to ensure the area after the children have eaten is cleaned and set up
Spend time with children in the rooms to support the children’s understanding of being clean and tidy
To ensure the entrance areas and other areas such as parent rooms are well presented, attractive and inviting
Maintain an orderly cleaning cupboard ensuring it is tidy and organised, strong chemicals safely in line with COSHH requirements
Ensure full records of COSHH assessments are up to date and available at all times

To demonstrate a patient demure with the ability to work well under pressure. 
Self Confidence with the ability to use their own initiative
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
